Born and raised in Amsterdam, Antje left her hometown at 18 to pursue acting around the world. She began her journey in Los Angeles, studying at various acting studios and enrolling in the UCLA Extension Program. Her path led her to Australia, where she delved into more advanced acting methods, including the Lee Strasberg technique. In 2019, she ventured to London, immersing herself in the theater scene with a classical Shakespeare course at LAMDA and multiple courses at Guildhall, RADA, MET Film School, and Mountview, from which she graduated in 2021. Her commitment to education and honing her craft continues as she gains valuable experience in the field.
Antje Boermans
As she honed her acting skills, Antje also nurtured a passion for directing, writing, and creative work. She began building her resume with directing and assistant roles in film and theater, along with internships in script supervising. Simultaneously, she wrote, directed, and produced two short films. Her theater debut as a writer, director, and producer came with Dinner Table (2022).
Antje starred in the TV-Series Der Amsterdam Krimi (2022) and Noord Zuid (2015). She has also played roles in the feature films The Bay Of Silence (2018) directed by Paula van der Oest, the romantic comedy All You Need Is Love (2018) directed by Will Koopman, Hidden Flaws (2003) and Zus & Zo (2001).
