Sonia Eijken delivered a captivating performance as Juliyat in the enchanting series Remy and Juliyat (2019). With her star power on the ascent, she has left an indelible mark on the critically acclaimed series Mocro Maffia (2022-2023), the popular Videoland show Hockeyvaders (2023), and De Slet van 6 VWO (2019). Additionally, she showcased her talent in supporting roles in the series Het Verhaal van Nederland (2022) and the compelling Locked Out (2020-2021).

Sonia embarked on her career journey at the age of 14 when she made her debut as Safa in the television series Brugklas (2014-2018). She then continued to shine as she took on the role of Soroya alongside Jonas Smulders in the award-winning sci-fi series Zenith (2017).
Next in line, Sonia takes on a pivotal lead role in the upcoming horror flick JIMMY (2024), which is now available on Amazon Prime and her most recent project is the international documentary Amsterdam Narcos (2025) for Skyshowtime.
Alongside her acting career, Sonia has built a strong presence as a presenter and host. She presented the Kinder Theater College at the Leidse Schouwburg for three consecutive years and has works as a (co-)host on various shows. She has also served as event moderator at events such as the Young Diverse Leaders Conference, leading conversations with confidence and authenticity. With her background in youth series, she connects naturally with young audiences both on screen and on stage.
